Abstract : In the last two decades, cognitive translation studies in China has been gaining momentum, which is spurred by three lines or perspectives of inquiry: psychology especially cognitive psychology and psycholinguistics , cognitive linguistics, and translation process research TPR. Despite the limited numbers of researchers in the first two lines, their increasing number of monographs reflects their influence. Also, while the first two lines have distinctive Chinese characteristics, TPR has been quite parallel to its Western counterpart. This paper offers a survey of Chinese researchers in the three lines, mainly including those in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. It briefly presents dissertations, publications and current lines of work. As many of the researchers publish in Chinese only, this paper provides a window for looking at the Chinese research scene in cognitive translation studies. Keywords: translation process, interpreting process, cognitive approaches, translation process research. This draft may not exactly replicate the final version of the article.

However, the origin of their photoluminescence excitation dependence PL-ED still remains uncertain, and this can limit the full exploit of their wonderful optical properties.
The alkali treatment can effectively break down the clusters into individual CDs via the hydrolysis of the amide and ester bonds that link the CDs together. This process effectively narrowed the emission line width and suppressed the observed PL-ED. The understanding of the excitation dependence mechanism here outlined a novel strategy for tailoring of the PL-ED of CDs via a synergy of chemical and physical processes, thus enhancing the versatility of CDs for a broader spectrum of applications.
Brief synthesis process and structural transformation of the CDs as well as the interaction among the CDs before and after the alkali treatment MP4. The American Chemical Society holds a copyright ownership interest in any copyrightable Supporting Information.

Power ahead: China and Mozambique p. Infante D. Henrique, 43 — 53A, Macao T. Correction: on issue 45 page 91, the sentence reads Macao as a Portuguese colony, in fact Macao was a Chinese territory under Portuguese administration. Connecting the world Some say that there are just six degrees of separation between any two individuals, and despite having more than seven billion people worldwide, it is more true today than ever before.
With the interconnectivity of our societies, there is no country that China does not play a part in today. China has been increasingly investing in Mozambique over the past few years, building infrastructure and other economic capacity within its people.

In comparison with the traditional approach, it achieves a high injection speed and high precision of operation, which leads to consistent quality and high survival rate of the injected cells. One unique feature is that force sensing is employed to determine the exact moment when the cell membrane is pierced, which contributes to the protection of the cell from damage.
Moreover, a new cell holding device is designed to immobilize the cells, which speeds up the multi-cell microinjection process by eliminating the use of conventional vacuum holding pipette. The machine vision is realized by combining the pyramid template matching algorithm with Kalman filter, which reduces the computation time and facilitates real-time control.

Taken together, this study supports that TFEB-mediated autophagy is a survival mechanism during oxidative stress and pharmacological enhancement of this process is a neuroprotective strategy against oxidative stress-associated PD lesions. Macroautophagy hereafter referred to as autophagy , an intracellular bulk degradation process, plays an important role in degrading and recycling cytosolic long-lived proteins and damaged organelles via the lysosome.
Autophagy operates constitutively at a basal level under normal conditions, and could be induced by the nutrient depletion, oxidative stress, or other harmful conditions 1 , 2. PD, featured by the loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra pars compacta SNc , is a prevalent neurodegenerative disorder among aging individuals.
To date, the pathogenesis of nigral degeneration remains unclear. Increasing evidence revealed that reactive oxygen species ROS and defects in the clearance of abnormal protein aggregates are important factors underlying it 5 , 6. Changes of autophagy status have been reported in 6-OHDA-induced PD models 17 , 18 , 19 , 20 , 21 , however, the mechanisms and consequence of autophagy status changes have not been well explored.
Recently, it was reported that a mild increase of ROS levels could activate mucolipin 1 MCOLN1 , a key calcium-conducting channel on the lysosome membrane, to initiate calcineurin-dependent activation of transcription factor EB TFEB 22 , which is identified as a master regulator of the autophagy—lysosome pathway ALP However, excessive ROS levels may cause lysosomal dysfunction and autophagic failure, and lead to cell death 22 ,
